The Concept
EXPOCASE. The new platform for exhibition design, interactive knowledge transfer and scenography at the EXPONATEC 2009.
From the 17th to 20th of November 2009 EXPONATEC Cologne will present EXPOCASE for the first time. EXPOCASE is a client-led platform for exhibition design, scenography and interactive knowledge transfer, all taking place in Hall 11.1 at Koelnmesse, the Cologne trade fair centre. In the exhibition area – curated by Cologne-based design office ,simple – the best exhibitors, offices and further education institutes from across Germany and Europe will present the exhibition design, knowledge transfer and scenography of the future. This is where curators meet designers, the conceptual meets the practice, and colleagues meet colleagues. This is where you will find time and space for the exchange of ideas: from a little tête-à-tête conversation to a fast-paced Petcha Kutcha presentation at the bar.
The mini fair stand.
All participants have one cubic metre at their disposal. There they can visualise their respective points of view, visions and work. The only condition is that the outer dimensions are adhered to:
one cubic metre as based on a Euro pallet.
This presentation concept enables all design offices to take part, irrespective of their size and origin
and without major financial or logistical risk.
“Together with the Koelnmesse, we want to establish a place for the exchange of ideas and business cards, perspectives and practices; where designers can meet curators and theoreticians can meet technicians.“
